01 · Cold storage and packing · Delano, CA
A grape packing and cold storage operation whose annual demand charge was being set by a single week of intake in late July. The array covers the daytime refrigeration load; the battery exists purely to hold the monthly peak down during pull-down.
02 · Water and municipal · Buttonwillow, CA
A 2.35 MW DC tracker field on district-owned basin margin land, serving three pumping meters. The district shifted its own load by filling storage reservoirs in the generation window instead of buying a battery.
03 · Education · Shafter, CA
Solar canopies across three campus lots, built in two summer windows. The structures carry the array, the lot lighting and the conduit for a future electric bus fleet.
04 · Food and beverage processing · Tulare, CA
A split roof-and-yard system for a dairy processor running 24 hours through the flush. A compressed-air survey done during the audit removed enough load to shrink the array before it was designed.
05 · Agriculture and irrigation · Wasco, CA
A fixed-tilt field on a fallowed corner serving two deep-well pump meters. The array is aimed 22 degrees west of due south because that is where the irrigation day actually sits.
06 · Warehousing and distribution · Bakersfield, CA
A 960 kW roof array deliberately sized below the available roof area, matched to a load that is about to grow as the yard tractor fleet electrifies.
